New York Quicksteppers

Growing up, basketball was my passion and I was sure I was going to the NBA.  I started competing in track and field when I was 13. However, I did not take it seriously until I was cut from the basketball team in my sophomore year. My heart was broken. I have since fallen in love with track and field, and it has been incredibly rewarding.

After earning my Master's in Public Health, I became an adjunct professor at Franklin Pierce University and the Program Manager at Meharry Medical College. I've had the incredible privilege of shaping the next generation of public health leaders and making a real impact in this field.

I'm thrilled to be returning to my track and field roots, by turning pro and joining NATFL. It's an amazing opportunity to combine my love of the sport with my passion for achievement and encouraging young athletes.

The journey hasn't always been easy, but every step of the way, track has been there, shaping me into the person I am today. I'm grateful for the lessons, the challenges, and the incredible opportunities that lie ahead.
