Joshua Parks
New York Quicksteppers
I am a team player. This trait was instilled in me from a young age, as I grew up surrounded by two older brothers, one younger brother, and three cousins that lived five minutes away.Â
Having family close in age filled our home with constant laughter and companionship. Our household was always bustling with activity, and I quickly learned the value of collaboration, communication, and a little healthy competition.
Money was tight, but we didn't feel the lack. Our imaginative games, sports interests, and shared adventures sparked joy. Despite the chaos, love was abundant, creating a warm, secure haven. Those humble childhood days remain my most treasured memories.
I know I'll be supported by the league and its members, and I'm eager to contribute to NATFL. Growing up in a close-knit family taught me to navigate multiple goals, contribute to a positive environment, and inspire those around me. I'm excited to bring these skills to every competitive event.
