Odell Frye

As one of 16 children, my upbringing was a unique blend of sheltered protection and lessons in perseverance. My large family shielded me from life's harsh realities. Yet in that loving care, I learned invaluable patience and resilience. 

I learned early on that finding my niche was key. Sports became my outlet, a domain where I could shine. Volleyball and basketball provided a sense of team and purpose. I thrived amidst the camaraderie, cherishing the unified pursuit of victory.

However, as I matured, track and field emerged as my passion. While I reveled in the personal challenge, I yearned for the team dynamic that had fueled me for so long. I knew that my future success would require me to build my team. Joining the North American Track&Field League was my solution, allowing me to combine my drive with collaboration.

Through this journey, I've learned that sports transcend winning – it’s more about finding your place, pursuing growth, and building the teams that elevate you. This new family, coupled with my own family, instills in me the patience and resilience to navigate life's challenges, and I strive to emulate those lessons daily.
