Almighty Williamson

As you can see, with a name like Almighty, my parents expected great things from me, and I am determined to live up to their expectations.

My childhood was great when it came to support from my family. My father has always made it a priority to teach my siblings and me the importance of family and a healthy work ethic.  As a child, and especially now, my father has been a good male role model.

However, despite having family members who cared about us, we had our fair share of tough times from sleeping in cars to living in the projects and overall just bouncing from home to home. But this helped develop a survivor's mentality while forging the understanding and importance of looking out for family.

Oddly those challenging times, although difficult, have been my greatest gift because they brought me closer to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. In my darkest moments, I found solace in His word and promises. Through prayer and faith, I discovered an inner strength that has blessed my life and even my track performance. I know I am never truly alone.
